00pm to 10:
30pm after training.

Under the direction of the Parks Foreman, the Park Attendant position is responsible for serving the residents of Cedar Park through monitoring park use and assisting visitors.
Assists with and monitors reservations of clubhouse and pavilions and supports volunteer activities and events.
Responsible for monitoring safety and operational conditions of park facilities, pathways and fields; Monitors the use of cave preserves and special use parks.
Provides information, direction and support to the users of 46 parks and over 30 miles of pathways.
Provides information, education and public relations functions with opportunities to demonstrate initiative, decision making and independent judgment.
The Position Inspect the operational conditions of all parks and pathways with emphasis on those with the highest use and take remedial action when appropriate.
Monitor the use of specialty parks and preserves such as the Skate Park, splashpad, Dog Park, sports fields, cave trails and historic areas.
Assist and support the park reservation system for fields, pavilions and clubhouse with emphasis on the larger group reservations.
Monitor and report litter conditions within the community parks as well as pathways and special use parks and take remedial action when appropriate.
Assist and support volunteer groups associated with the Cedar Park Adopt-a Park Program.
Monitor and report the use and turf conditions at the Brushy Creek Sports Park and other athletic fields.
Provide public information and assistance to park users to gain compliance with the adopted park rules and regulations.
Assists with coordination and scheduling of programs, volunteer activities and special events.
Works with and deals effectively with the public and acts as an ambassador for the City as well as the Parks Department to provide positive experiences for park patrons.
Maintain logs and prepares reports including vandalism, graffiti, maintenance and park and pathway needs and provides feedback to the Parks Foreman, and Performs other such related duties as assigned.
Acceptable Experience, Training, Certifications and Licenses High school graduation or equivalent, and At least one (1) year of related experience.
Park attendant will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Supplemental Information Knowledge of:
basic mechanics, environmental stewardship and park rules and regulations.
Skill/Ability to:
read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence; apply basic math concepts, units of measure and proportions to practical situations; problem solve; effectively present information in one-one and small group situations to customers, clients; establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public; ability to lift or move up to 10lbs, frequently lift or move 25lbs and occasionally lift or move 100lbs; tolerate outside working conditions, including exposure to adverse weather conditions; and maintain Texas driver's license applicable to job responsibilities and good driving record.
